There are browser extensions that will block specific url families. I wouldn’t be surprised if entire extensions were designed for that website specifically.

The Internet is a fickle creature. Lemmy users tend to not support posts that could be interpreted as an ad. Flagship phones seem to be a top item on the hit list.

Personally, I have used flagship phones but do not plan to in the future. Cheap ones last longer in my experience and don’t have ads in menus and undeletable bloatware. After buying a Samsung TV, which has the above issues and more, I don’t plan to buy anything from that company again.

Please don’t dwell on posts that do badly if you are being genuine. Might just need to try a different community for these types of posts.
