Saying, “I don’t like what they say so they shouldn’t have a voice” sounds a lot like undermining democracy to me. Them living in conservative echo chambers doesn’t increase dialog or challenge their beliefs either. Divided media and divided opinions are the tools to take down a nation. Supporting this kind of division strikes me as an example of the main kind of foreign interference this country is crumbling because of. If that was your goal, I guess congratulations?

It’s a weakness. We need more anti-authoritarians here for sure. And even conservatives if nothing else so they can represent their own opinions rather than just laughing at straw-man versions of what neolibs want to say they think. I have moments I hate it here but there’s nowhere good to go and I guess I add a little diversity.

I would say to run, but you’re already married. I get myself out of painting by continuously - and I have to do it all the time because I also run a nonprofit where people are always insane about paint colors - I just say color isn’t my thing, I delegate it to one person (I’d suggest OPs wife) and I don’t get involved or help. If someone doesn’t like a color, they know who to talk to. And even if they want help I just remind them I don’t care about color and to ask someone who cares to help.

I actually do care, but I disagree with everyone around me so this is just a way of picking my battles. I have chosen not to care about color only because it saves me time and energy.

This is why the ruling class pushes gun control so hard. Don’t let them do it.

The only way they’ll get rid of most of the guns is by searching property to property. Many won’t comply with unconstitutional bans. I quit consuming the Hollywood product almost a decade ago. I watch a lot of small content creators though. I met my wife working at a movie theater, but I’ve seen a movie in a theater maybe twice in the last ten years. I occasionally watch a show with her but if I’m by myself I don’t have any desire to consume their product.

Damn I’m in the wrong nonprofit lol. Building, activity and pay & benefits for 7 employees come in under $400k total budget/expenses and we have distributed millions and millions of pounds of food in the last few years.

BMI is honestly a terrible tool for individuals, (meh but I get it for larger societal groups). Everything on me is bigger than average. Size 14 US shoe, size 3x helmets. 2x gloves. My wingspan is significantly wider than I am tall (6’5" vs 5’10"). Even my bones are far wider than average. I’m no bodybuilder but I hike extremely steep hikes for fun and at least my ass and thighs have a bit of muscle.

My weight has varied over the years but even when I’m so thin I’m constantly getting questions of, “Are you alright? You’re way too thin.” I’m still just into the overweight category. For me to get to a "healthy"BMI I’d have to be sickly thin. So I just take care of what I think makes me healthy. And at 51 my only medication is a Zyrtec every day but I’m still technically solidly overweight.

Don’t worry, this particular map is just as useless for everyone.
