Oh hell yeah sounds amazing. WANT.
I make things of metal and code. I do road trips.
My main website is sensitive research (my queer scifi novel [The Delivery]is there), Rambler automobiles, Rambler Lore.
Oh hell yeah sounds amazing. WANT.
Exactly and thank you. Dipshit reframing for rightwing numbskulls to repeat.
There is a WONDERFUL book, BATTLECRY OF FREEDOM, (McPherson) covers civil war era in detail, using contemporary accounts. One of a dozen world-changing books in my life.
It’s also like scifi: the 1840s etc was the start of particular world changing science and tech: telegraph (instant electric communication), railroads, and germ theory. There was an angle where this was a technological war…
Why?
Woah! Suddenly I’m gay! What happened!?
Oh wait I just remembered I’ve been gay since 5 yrs old.
Broadly speaking, so-called conservative folk are not creative. They resist change, and trying new things is umm trying new things.
Weirdos like me LOVE CHANGE and novelty so you can probably guess which direction I lean.
Trans and queer and furry and weird folk are often programmers and creative folk. ActivityPub is written largely by and for queer and trans and furry folk. So no surprise it’s so strongly supportive of individual expression and rights.
Is anyone surprised that everything the chump crowd touches fails?
Well the solution to that is obvious…
People who have really big bellies disagree with you.
I tuck my t-shirt into my underpants and pull them way up, just to be sure.
Hmm … I think the point of this post, and comm, is being (righteously) annoyed. When leavened with humor, of the self-deprecating kind, it’s good.
But public indulgence of righteous indignation is kinda gross. Once in a while maybe…
In the internet biz since 1993 here (retired): choose your registrar as carefully as your domain name.
Lowest price is the dumbest reason. It’s never the way to choose anything. ID what your needs are, what satisfies that, then shop for the best price…
Anyway at the moment for my purposes the EU with it’s gdpr and other rules is the best choice for many reasons. I’m using joker.com.
Top level domains (.ml etc) have their own rules, you gotta read them carefully. I don’t know anything about .ml and whether they allowed that usage or not.
Sort of. You really need a team, 3 or 5 people. Takes a year to get a car and make it ready. Needs a roll cage. Someone needs to weld or be rich, lol. Tools, fuel. Lodging and transport. 5 grand last time we budgeted but we only raced once, so discount my advice that much.
But go on their forum, lurk, and consider volunteering on a team! That would be the best way.
Racing meaning the whole schtick, prep, build, transport, driving! pits, it’s unbelievable fun. Do it!
Lol not completely true or untrue. Nahh would be thread hijacking.
Overworked, underpaid.
Great photo! We had weird shit like-that-but-different here in Los Angeles the last few years. Surreal.
Eventually it’ll run out of fuel to burn. For now.
Every place is north-east of some other place, when living on an obloid spehere.
But yeah.
We have hairless dogs. Xoloitzquintli. They can stick to vinyl seats. They don’t like it. Luckily too we don’t have vinyl seats.
Yes! Tax the capitalists! I’m glad you agree.
