I have one, it’s in my drugs drawer
Once I was in my teens and handing my money over to the tobacco industry because that made me very badass, I had a lighter, and what you would do is, first, you hold the flame up to the point where the spoon meets the stem and then yank the stem off so you get a long skinny bit of plastic off it. Then you’d snap off the “M” at the top, hold your lighter up to it until just starts to melt, and then stick it onto the upside-down spoon thing.
Toy mouse!
When did McDonalds ever want to give value to customers. They took away the one reason customers visited their joint.
Or as a shrewd business, they could’ve simply sold these for a few bucks.
They took away the one reason customers visited their joint
But how can they function without bathrooms?
“Problematic usage”. IT WAS USED FOR SNORTING COKE. DRUGS. DRUG USE. This isn’t Facebook, you don’t have to come up with cutesy euphamisms and self-censor yourself.
Oh fucking shit, you are certainly not rated PEGI 6
snow
May i ask how exactly it aided in snorting coke?
Maybe it’s hollow?
Perfect for scooping a small amount out of a baggie, and the shape of the spoon made it easier to place it against a nostril and sniff.
Oh i see. I do wonder how actively involved the McCEOs were in the development 😄
A surprising number of corporate decisions of that era were made with the “Cocaine and Dartboards” decision making philosophy.
Leaving it ambiguous activated the reader’s imagination and elevated a TIL into a shitpost.
Oh My! clutches pearls Fetch my fainting couch!
Oh that’s infinitely less disturbing than the images my mind conjured up
Whenever I go into a store and there’s nothing to buy, I feel bad walking out empty-handed. In those cases I tend to buy a wire coat hanger, to make sure the employees don’t think I’m up to something sketchy.
Yeah that’s the type of usage I was thinking of too.

Drugs are neat, and you can buy them relatively cheap. And when you do 'em people think that you’re cool.
These were definitely around mid to late 80s maybe even early 90s.
Source: am old
I’m probably aroundish your age and I too remember them.
Thank you. I was born in '77 and remember these through my teenage years.
They probably got rid of them because buying straight plastic stirrers is cheaper than custom making them or something like that.

We definitely had these in Australia in the 90s.
I am American and we had these in the 90s too. I wasn’t even born the the 70s and I have seen these.
We had them in the UK In the late 90’s too (I worked at McDonald’s)
