@lemmyshitpost went on Reddit 🤢 for a second because they have a better ham radio community, god is that place fucked. Let’s start the fun again of trying to destroy it. #reddit #fuckreddit
Stop thinking about your ex.
We here now. Let’s not be petty with talk of destroying something.
Reddit is sheeeeeet
A few things: if all lemmy worked in unison, I doubt the users could legally “destroy reddit”
If you want to make a community on lemmy, it’s fairly straightforward, and if you have a few people you can gather to boost posts for a bit, you can launch your community pretty well.
There’s a few star trek communities, one of which popped up due to moderator issues. The new sub had 3 people originally, but within a few days had over 1k subs from those few people boosting their community. I’d LOVE to see a ham community here. I’m super super amateur, and mostly it’s just a fascination with all things electronic and radio, but still.
And finally, reddit occupies a free space in your mind when you talk shit about them constantly. We know they suck, that’s why a lot of us are here. You are preaching to the proverbial choir.
That said, fuck reddit, fuck spez, quality shit post indeed!
Let’s just enjoy Lemmy. Also we don’t need to kill Reddit, Reddits doing a good job at that already.
I no longer care enough about Reddit to go there for any reason at all. 🤷
It’s good to have a choice. But now, in many countries, various social networks are being blocked.
why this community
Can someone explain to me why there are entire communities on Lemmy about Reddit? I used to use Reddit too, I enjoyed it, then I left after the API changes. Now I use Lemmy. It doesn’t have any emotional hold on me, it was just a tool that I used. Stop bitching and move on with your life. It’s just sad at this point. If you really didn’t care for Reddit any more then there’d be no need to keep saying loudly how bad it is and how you don’t care or use it.
