Sometimes I wonder how life is like for Billionaires. Like do they have to wake up sharp at 6am to be at work sharp at 8am?

No. They wake up whenever they want - their workplaces usually revolve around them instead of the other way around, since they usually head their own companies. This is relevant in the tech space. In other industries like Law and Business, they usually do have set times when they are in the office and stuff, but again, it’s not the same as the rest of us plebians going to work - they have drivers and pilots and they won’t get written up for being late or not going somewhere they don’t want to go to, though their business may/may not suffer the effects of their decisions. As for home life, They pretty much have fleets of staff that take care of all their earthly concerns - no chores, no house maintenance, or cooking or shopping etc. They usually aren’t even connected to the people that do these things - They have personal assistants that work with home chaperones for each home that hire cooks and servants and property maintenance people etc. as needed.

Fair warning though - I found all this from YouTube and the internet and shit, so I can’t speak for its accuracy.

I despise both those people but a picture of them in the same place at the same time near each other, and I might add not even touching or other signs of familiarity; it’s really just a opportunity shot. Probably for her or maybe just by the event photographer. I wish it proved more of a connection, but it really doesn’t.

We should be dragging this billionaire asshole for all the shitty things he has done and is doing. It only weakens our own position to bring in speculation and unverified shit. It just becomes a lightning rod for the unwashed masses that support him to dismiss every other valid point against him.

I have a picture with Joel McHale.

If Joel McHale turned out to run an international child sex trafficking ring would my picture with him indicate that I was part of the ring?

I HATE Elon, but this whole…

“See see see! There is a picture of them both at the NYC 9/11 Firefighters Fundraiser event in 2009!!! <Insert celebrity here that was at the event and pictured with Maxwell or Epstein> must also be a Satan worshipping child rapist/murderer.”

    Thing is fucking stupid.

As much as I love shitting on the rosary rattler megacorp, they have nothing even approaching exclusivity in that department. They’re just the biggest organization in the world (that I know of) that gets away with actively spending money covering it up.

I’ve been caught in photos with people I hate, who I would never let into my house and would not piss on if they were on fire… no idea they were there until I saw it the next day. Just saying, a photo alone means nothing.

Well for what it’s worth the picture was meaningless to me 😂 , I mean I recognized Elon Musk, but I have no clue who that woman is, so I focused on criticizing his bowtie

That they knew how to be connected? Like that’s literally what they were selling. Guilt by association is not guilt. It’s just one possible connection. The reason they were able to operate for years without being caught was because they were able to hang out in the public’s eye and not even think about being caught.

Bot. There’s an option in account settings to tag yourself as one.

If you hover over it it’ll pop up the words “Bot Account”. Several of the Lemmy UI icons have hover text like that. Handy for when you’re scratching your head over what one of them does.

This shit rubs me the wrong way, dude. Everybody gets rushed into taking pictures with each other at these events and I don’t think that’s justification to smear someone’s reputation by connecting them to Elon Musk.

I read that in the link @PrinzMegahertz kindly provided, but she should have gone forward with it anyway. If anything remotely bad were to happen to her family Trump would actually be fucked.

Is it worth losing your family tho? Risking the life of others to fuck him over? That’s a deeply fucked up choice to have to make and I don’t think I knew what to do

It isn’t even a gamble though, he makes a lot of fuck ups but he literally can’t afford to fuck up that bad. It would cost him less financially to settle than it would the enormous backlash from actually trying some shit. On top of that if something were to coincidentally happen to the family, he’s be just as screwed. If someone raped me and threatened to harm my family if I told anyone, and they were a huge public figure harboring Trump’s level of distrust from people, then hell yeah he’s going to court. All threats would be made public and extremists would be watching any news on my family like a hawk. That girl needed a better lawyer.

Again, another girl apparently already had disappeared. I don’t know if i could behave very logical and Trump and Eppy don’t really suffer consequences
